John Lam

Sports Injury Specialist

John Lam, a registered physiotherapist under the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, hails from North Vancouver, where he cultivated a love for outdoor activities such as skiing and running. His personal experience with injuries while playing football at Western inspired him to pursue a career in physiotherapy. Committed to forming meaningful connections with his patients, John aims to create comprehensive treatment plans that include education, manual therapy, and tailored exercises. When not assisting patients on their recovery journeys, John enjoys going to the gym and playing golf or squash.

Dr. Michael Carriero

Multi-disciplinary Chiropractor and Acupuncturist

Graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and York University with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Specialized Honours degree, Dr. Michael Carriero offers an extensive range of treatments as a chiropractor. He also boasts training in massage therapy from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy and Acupuncture Provider from McMaster University. Driven by passion for his work, he customizes each patient's treatment plan incorporating soft tissue therapy, spinal manipulative therapy, laser therapy joint mobilization, and rehabilitative therapy for optimal recovery results.

Chirayu Desai

Certified Kinesio-taping Practitioner

Chirayu "Chi" Desai has been practicing as a registered physiotherapist since 2010 after beginning his career in outpatient neurology and orthopedics settings before moving to Toronto in 2013. With special interest in sports injuries rehabilitation training — having worked at the 2015 Toronto PanAm Games medical team — Chi is also certified in Kinesio-taping and acupuncture practice. He believes in using a comprehensive approach towards patient care focused on movement and muscle imbalance correction through exercise therapy.
