Extended Health Care Insurance

Often provided by workplaces as part of a benefits package, extended health care insurance covers physiotherapy services for many patients. The extent of coverage and possibility of direct billing depends largely on the specifics of each individual's health care plan and insurance provider. Our administrative team will guide you through the direct billing process and request reimbursement on your behalf for services provided.

Motor Vehicle Accident

Should you suffer any physical or psychological injury due to involvement in a motor vehicle accident, it's possible that physiotherapy, chiropractic or massage therapy services could be covered through your auto insurance. Our highly trained administrative staff can assist with necessary paperwork required by auto insurance providers so that treatments can start promptly.

WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board)

Injuries incurred at work may qualify for physiotherapy treatments covered through the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). Following any workplace injury, it's crucial to report the incident promptly to facilitate WSIB evaluation of entitlement to receive physiotherapy services.

Self Pay

Even without coverage from any of these providers above, we offer reduced rates for self-paying patients who require physiotherapy but lack healthcare coverage. Please contact us directly for more information regarding this option; we're more than happy to discuss specific situations and solutions.

Arriving Early

To ensure we have all necessary information prior to starting treatment, please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to complete medical history and consent forms.

What to Bring

Carrying any relevant medical imaging (such as X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound, CT scan, E.M.G/N.C.V testing) or referrals can be very helpful during your initial visit. Remember to bring your health insurance card for direct billing to your insurance provider if that service is desired. If applicable, please also bring your WSIB claim number.

Dress Code

We recommend dressing comfortably for your visit as comfort aids in facilitating a more productive session and recovery.
